1. पहले पद में भगवा और भक्त की जिन जिन चीजों से तुलना की गई है, उनका उल्लेख कीजिए।
उत्तर: पहले पद में भगवा और भक्त की तुलना निम्नलिखित चीजों से की गई है -
चंदन - पानी
घन - वन - मोर
चंद्र-चौकोर
दीपक - बाती
मोती - धागा
सोना - सुहागा
2. पहले पद की प्रत्येक पंक्ति के अंत में तुकांत शब्दों के प्रयोग से नाद - सौंदर्य आ गया है, जैसे - पानी, समानी आदि। इस पद में से अन्य तुकांत शब्द छांटकर लिखिए।
उत्तर: तुकांत शब्द निम्नलिखित हैं:
मोरा - चकोरा
बाती - राती
धागा - सुहागा
दासा - रैदासा
3. पहले पद में कुछ शब्द अर्थ की दृष्टि से परस्पर संबद्ध हैं। ऐसे शब्दों को छाँटकर लिखिए।
उदाहरण : दीपक - बाती

4. दूसरे पद में कवि ने 'गरीब निवाजु' किसे कहा है? स्पष्ट लिखिए।
उत्तर: दूसरे पद में कवि ने 'गरीब निवाजु' भगवान/ ईश्वर को कहा है क्योंकि ईश्वर ने अपनी कृपा रैदास जी पर न्योछावर कर दी थी जिससे उन्हें पूरे संसार में अछुत माने जाने पर भी संत की पदवी
पाने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ तथा उन्हें सबका प्रेम और सम्मान भी मिला।
5. दूसरे पद की 'जाकी छोति जगत कउ लागै ता पर तुहीं ढरै' इस पंक्ति का आशय स्पष्ट कीजिए।
उत्तर: इस पंक्ति का आशय यह है कि इस संसार में गरीब तथा निचले स्तर के लोगों को सम्मान नहीं प्राप्त होता है तथा उन्हें अछुत माना जाता है। परंतु ईश्वर किसी में भेदभाव नहीं करते, वे उनपर दया का छत्र धारण करते हैं तथा उनकी पीड़ा खत्म करते हैं। भले ही वह कोई राजा हो या गरीब ईश्वर के लिए सब सामान हैं।
6. 'रैदास' ने अपने स्वामी को किन किन नामों से पुकारा है?
उत्तर: रैदास ने अपने स्वामी को गुसईया, गरीब निवाजु, लाल, गोविंद, हरि, प्रभु आदि नामों से पुकारा है।
7. निम्नलिखित शब्दों के प्रचलित रूप लिखिए।

8. नीचे लिखी पंक्तियों का भाव स्पष्ट कीजिए:
1. जाकी अँग-अँग बास समानी
उत्तर: इसका भाव यह है कि जिस तरह चंदन के पानी में मिलने से उसकी सुगंध पूरे पानी में फैल जाती है उसी प्रकार भक्त यानी रैदास जी के रोम रोम में प्रभु यानी श्रीराम की भक्ति समा चुकी है।
2. जैसे चितवत चंद चकोर
उत्तर: इसका भाव यह है कि जिस तरह चंदन के पानी में मिलने से उसकी सुगंध पूरे पानी में फैल जाती है उसी प्रकार भक्त यानी रैदास जी के रोम रोम में प्रभु यानी श्रीराम की भक्ति समा चुकी है।

4. ऐसी लाल तुझ बिनु कउनु करै
उत्तर: इसका भाव यह है कि कवि कहते हैं पूरे संसार में अछूत माने जाने के पश्चात भी प्रभु ने ऐसी कृपा की जैसी कोई नहीं कर सकता अर्थात ईश्वर जैसी कृपा कोई नहीं कर सकता और ईश्वर ऐसी कृपा हमेशा बनाय रखें।
5. नीचहु ऊच कै मेरा गोबिंदु काहू ते न डरै
उत्तर: इसका भाव यह है कि ईश्वर हर कार्य करने में सक्षम हैं, उन्हें कोई भी नहीं रोक सकता। वे नीचे को भी ऊँचा बना देते हैं जिससे उसे उच्च जाती इतना ही समान तथा प्रेम प्राप्त होता है।
9. रैदास के इन पदों का केंद्रीय भाग अपने शब्दों में लिखिए।
उत्तर: रैदास के इन पदों का केंद्रीय भाव भक्ति है। भक्ति एवं प्रेम पूरी तरह ईश्वर को समर्पित हैं। पहला पद श्रद्धा एवं भक्ति के भाव का समर्पण दर्शाता है तथा दूसरा पद सामाजिक समानता की मांग करता है, यह पद समाज में छुआछुत जैसी कुरीतियों को दूर करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
