ICSE Class 10 Maths Syllabus


For students coming under the ICSE board, we have provided the ICSE Class 10 Maths Syllabus. This syllabus for class 10 ICSE board students will be able to understand the concepts of Maths which will prepare them for the upcoming Maths topics in higher classes. There is one paper of two and a half hours’ duration carrying 80 marks and Internal Assessment of 20 marks. The paper is divided into two sections: Section I (40 marks) and Section II (40 marks). Section I consists of compulsory short answer questions. In Section II, you are required to answer four out of seven questions.

The ICSE Class 10 Mathematics syllabus is well-structured by the ICSE Board which covers all the important topics that are important to study for students of Class 10. Students should start their exam preparation after going through the syllabus which will guide them to study accordingly from easy topics to difficult ones. ICSE Class 10 Mathematics Exam pattern

ICSE Class 10 Mathematics exam pattern gives an overview of the number of questions, distribution of marks, and the compulsory number of questions to be attempted from each section. Students are advised to have a look at the exam pattern before they start their preparation. It will help them to solve the final question paper with confidence.

For Maths (2.5 hrs)
Section – A  – Short compulsory questions worth 40 marks
Section – B  – 7 questions out of which any 4 are to be solved worth 40 marks
