2. 'एक तिनका' कविता में किस घटना की चर्चा की गई है, जिससे घमंड नहीं करने का संदेश मिलता है?

उत्तर: जब कवि एक दिन अपने घर के मुंडेरे पर खड़े थे उस वक्त वह घमंड में थे। तब हवा में उड़कर एक तिनका उनकी आँख में गिर गया। तिनके की वजह से उसकी आँख लाल हो गई वह बेचैन हो गया। आस पास के सभी लोग तिनका निकालने के लिए प्रयत्न करने लगे। जब तिनका आँख से निकल गया तब कवि को समझ आया कि हमें किसी बात का घमंड नहीं करना चाहिए। एक छोटा सा तिनका भी हमें परेशान कर सकता है।


3. आँख में तिनका पड़ने के बाद घमंडी की क्या दशा हुई?

उत्तर: घमंडी की आँख में तिनका पड़ने के बाद वह बेचैन हो गया, उसकी आँख लाल हो गई, आँख में दर्द होने लगा तथा उसे लग रहा था कि किसी भी तरह यह तिनका आँख से निकल जाए।


4. घमंडी की आँख से तिनका निकालने के लिए उसके आसपास लोगों ने क्या किया ?

उत्तर: घमंडी की आँख से तिनका निकालने के लिए आसपास के लोगों ने, घमंडी को कपड़े की मूंठ देने लगे जिससे कि तिनका उसकी आँख से निकल जाए।


5. ' एक तिनका' कविता में घमंडी को उसकी 'समझ' ने चेतावनी दी-

ऐंठता तू किसलिए इतना रहा, 

एक तिनका है बहुत तेरे लिए।

इसी प्रकार की चेतावनी कबीर ने भी दी है-

तिनका कबहूँ न निदिए, पाँव तले जो होय।

कबहूँ उड़ि आँखिन परै, पीर घनेरी होय।।

• इन दोनों में क्या समानता है और क्या अंतर? लिखिए।

उत्तर : उपर्युक्त काव्यांशों की पंक्तियों में समानता यह है कि दोनों ही काव्यांशों में एक तिनके का महत्व बताया गया है, किसी को भी कभी-भी किसी प्रकार का अहंकार नहीं करना चाहिए। एक तिनके का उदाहरण देते हुए बताया गया है कि जब ये छोटा सा तिनका भी जब आँख में पड़ जाए तो मनुष्य को बेचैन कर देता है।

इन दोनों काव्यांशों की पंक्तियों में अंतर यह है कि ‘एक तिनका’ कविता में कवि ने दर्शाया है कि छोटे से तिनके में मनुष्य का घमंड तोड़ देने की शक्ति है।

जबकि कबीर ने कहा है कि तिनके को कभी पाँव तले मत रौंदो न जाने कब वह उड़कर आँख में पड़ जाए और बहुत दर्द सहना पड़े अर्थात् छोटा व्यक्ति भी कभी-कभी नुकसान पहुँचा सकता है।


अनुमान और कल्पना

1. इस कविता को कवि ने ‘मैं’ से आरंभ किया है- ‘मैं घमंडों में भरा हुआ ऐंठा हुआ । कवि का यह ‘मैं’ कविता पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति से भी जुड़ सकता है और तब अनुभव यह होगा कि कविता पढ़ने वाले व्यक्ति अपनी बात बता रहा है। यदि कविता में ‘मैं’ की जगह ‘वह’ या कोई नाम लिख दिया जाए, तब कविता के वाक्यों के बदलाव की जाएगा। कविता में ‘मैं’ के स्थान पर ‘वह’ या कोई नाम लिखकर वाक्यों के बदलाव को देखिए और कक्षा में पढ़कर सुनाइए।

वह घमंडों में भरा ऐंठा हुआ।

• इन पंक्तियों में ‘ऐंठ’ और ‘समझ’ शब्दों का प्रयोग सजीव प्राणी की भाँति हुआ है। कल्पना कीजिए, यदि ‘ऐंठ’ और ‘समझ’ किसी नाटक में दो पात्र होते तो उनको अभिनय कैसा होता?

उत्तर: यदि ऐंठ और समझ के बीच नाटक में वार्तालाप होगा तो इस प्रकार होता

ऐंठ- समझ तू स्वयं को बहुत समझदार समझती है।

समझ- ऐंठ क्यों इतनी ऐंठती हो?

ऐंठ- समझ पता नहीं तू समझदारी कब दिखाएगी? 

समझ- पता नहीं ऐंठ की ऐंठ कब जाएगी

ऐंठ- भगवान करे तुझे जल्द ही समझ आ जाए।

समझ - भगवान करे तेरी ऐंठ जल्दी से हवा हो जाए।

1. 'किसी ढब से निकलना' का अर्थ है किसी ढंग से निकलना। ढब से' जैसे कई वाक्यांशों से आप परिचित होंगे, जैसे- धम से वाक्यांश है लेकिन ध्वनियों में समानता होने के बाद भी ढब से और धर्म से जैसे वाक्यांशों के प्रयोग में अंतर है।'धम से', 'छप से' इत्यादि का प्रयोग ध्वनि द्वारा क्रिया को सूचित करने के लिए किया जाता है। नीचे कुछ ध्वनि द्वारा क्रिया को सूचित करने वाले वाक्यांश और कुछ अधूरे वाक्य दिए गए हैं। उचित वाक्यांश चुनकर वाक्यों के खाली स्थान भरिए –
