NCERT Solutions Class 6 Hindi Lanka Vijay

Class 6 Hindi Chapter 11 Lanka Vijay is one of the chapters from the book Bal Ram Katha. The Vanarsena proceeds from Kishikandha to invade Lanka. Nal led the army while Hanuman and Jamwant were at the end. When the demons at Lanka heard about Rama's army approaching, they were frightened. Vibhishan realised that his army was in no state to fight and so requested Ravan to return Sita to Lord Rama. Enraged by Vibhishana's request, he asked him to leave, declaring him as his enemy. Vibhishan left Lanka the same night and took shelter at Lord Rama's camp. Rama was pleased to see him and assured him that he would give him the throne of Lanka.

Now the only challenge Rama's army faced was crossing the sea. Nal managed to build a bridge; through this, the army safely reached the shore of Lanka. Rama sent Angad to Ravan in the hope of reconciliation, but he refused. Then a terrible war broke out in Lanka. Many were injured, many lost their lives.

Ravan could see himself losing the battle and so decided to wake Kumbhakarna. Kumbhakarna managed to damage the monkey army, Hanuman and Angad were severely injured too. Rama and Lakshman killed Kumbhakarna and later in the palace Lakshman killed Meghnad also. Now Ravan was all alone in the battlefield and seeing Vibhishan in Rama's army he decided to kill Vibhishan himself. Rama saved Vibhishan from Ravan's arrow but in the process injured himself. The battle between Rama and Ravan was terrifying. Rama won the war by shooting an arrow that hit Ravan's head. The rest of Ravana's army fled the battleground and Vibhishan was made King. Sita returned to Lord Rama safely.
