Due to the widespread of Coronavirus, the board had reduced the CBSE Class 12 Maths Syllabus by 30% right at the beginning of the academic session 2020-21. The Maths sample paper of class 12 is as per the reduced syllabus. So, students are advised to go through the paper and marking scheme to know the latest exam pattern and changes made in Maths paper. CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper Pattern 2021
The Maths question paper 2021 will contain 2 parts as shown below. Both parts will have choices. Time duration of 3 hours will be given to all students to attempt the Maths question paper of 80 marks.

Part – A:
- It consists of two sections – I and II.
- Section I comprises of 16 very short answer type questions.
- Section II contains 2 case studies. Each case study comprises of 5 case-based MCQs. Students have to attempt any 4 out of 5 MCQs.
Part – B:
- It consists of three sections – III, IV and V.
- Section III comprises of 10 questions of 2 marks each.
- Section IV comprises of 7 questions of 3 marks each.
- Section V comprises of 3 questions of 5 marks each.
- Internal choice is provided in 3 questions of Section – III, 2 questions of Section IV and 3 questions of Section-V. Students have to attempt only one of the alternatives in all such questions.
