Q.1. What are the topics covered in SSC CGL Syllabus?

Ans. The SSC CGL exam is conducted in four tiers. Tier I comprises questions from General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & comprehension. Q.2. How many attempts are there in SSC CGL?

Ans. No such number of attempts is specified anywhere for SSC CGL exam. There are certain age limit restrictions, based on which the candidates as per the category they belong to can appear for the exam. Aspirants of SSC CGL must not be less than 18 years and cannot be more than 32 years of age (as on August 1, 2018). The age of candidates as present in the 10th and 12th certificates will be considered.

Q.3. Is there an interview round in the SSC CGL selection process?

Ans. Under the SSC CGL Recruitment, there are no interviews for any of the posts. Para 9.2 of the official notification for SSC CGL Recruitment 2020 clearly states that – “9.2 Interview component has been dispensed with. There will, therefore, be no interview.”

Q.4. How many marks are deducted for every wrongly answered question in SSC CGL exam?

Ans. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrongly marked answer.
