Yes, we had many parties in our class. It was held on Republic Day. We arranged a cook, sparkle lights, ingredients to prepare food, vehicles for pick up and drop and invitation cards.

Celebrating Bihu

Answer-

Bihu is the festival celebrated in Assam.

Deepawali, Holi, Eid and Dussehra etc. are some of the festivals we celebrate together with other families.

No, everyone does not cook and eat together on such festivals but most of them celebrate festivals together.

Gujhia, pua, dahi bhalle and mutton are the special dishes that are cooked on Holi. Sevain is the special dish that is cooked on Eid.

Pua is cooked by frying maida in oil whereas sevain is cooked by boiling it in sugar and milk.

Special vessels like Kadhai made up of Iron is used to cook dishes like pua and Sevain is cooked in pans.

Kadhai is the biggest vessel that is used to prepare vegetables.
