MPBSE is the acronym of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education and is the main education board of Madhya Pradesh, which is responsible for conducting Secondary and Higher Secondary. The MP board was established as per the Madhya Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Adhiniyam, 1965 (23 of 1965) to regulate Secondary Education in Madhya Pradesh.

About MP Board (MPBSE):

The MPBSE or Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (मध्यमिक शिक्षा मंडल) is an education board in the state of Madhya Pradesh,which was established by the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act, 1965. The main role of MPBSE is to promote education and make it more effective.

Exams Conducted by Madhya Pradesh Board

The MP Board conducts two of the most widely taken exams in the state which include the Class 10 exam and the Class 12 exam every year. An overview of each of these MP Board exams is given in the following points.

MP Board 10th Exam (High School)

The MPBSE Class 10 exams are conducted in the month of March every year. Almost 10 to 11 lakh students appear for the Class 10 MP Board Pariksha every year.

MPBSE announced the MP Board Class 10 Results 2020 on 4 July 2020. The total pass percentage stood at 62.84%, while last year’s pass percentage was 61.32%. Reports state that nearly 43% of boys in private schools and 38% of boys in government schools failed in class 10 exam. Likewise, 31% girls in private school and 35% girls in government school are reported to have failed the exam.

Nearly 11,32,319 students appeared in the MP 10th Board exam 2019, which included 9,90,546 regular students. At the same time, the MP Board High School exam 2019 was held in 3,864 exam centres across the state. MPBSE announced the results of Class 10 exam today, on 15 May 2019. Students who registered for the MP board exam can check their scores on the official websites of the MPBSE mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in. In 2019, the overall pass percentage in MP Board Class 10 Result 2019 was recorded as 61.32%, while in 2020, the overall percentage is at 62.84%

MP Board 12th Exam (Intermediate)

The MPBSE class 12 exam is conducted every year in the month of March to April. Almost 7-8 million students appear for the class 12 MP Board Pariksha every year. MP Board HSSC Result or Class 12 Result was released on 14th May 2019. The total number of students who received MP Board Class 12 Results stood at 7,65,358, of which 4,05,122 regular students and 41030 private students passed in the exams. Meanwhile, in 2020, 6,64,504 was the total number of students who registered for the exams, while  4,54,008 passed the exam.

Supplementary Exams

The Madhya Pradesh Board conducts the supplementary exams for class 10 and 12. The MP board supplementary exams are conducted every year after the commencement of board exams. Exam Pattern of Madhya Pradesh Board

The exam pattern of class 10 and 12 exams are decided by the MP board and almost remains the same every year. The duration of all the exams of class 10 and 12 are 3 hours and the total marks are 100. MP Board Pariksha and Result Dates

The class 10 exams generally start by the first week of March and end by March last week. On the other hand, the class 12 exams generally start from the first or second week of March and end by the first week of April. The MP board results are generally out by mid-May and then the supplementary exams start.
